Two-Lane Blacktop

I watched a few movies last week, all of which I had seen before, but I saw so much more in them this time around.

The first one was Two-Lane Blacktop. I love this movie for so many reasons. It is an existential work in the guise of a hippie-escapist road movie. Nothing happens in the movie, yet so much depends upon feeling the reality of the moment. The movie sucks you in because it is like really watching something that is happening to real people.

AS I was looking for resources for Two-Lane Blacktop, I found trailers and clips on You-Tube, and a Rob Zombie song that was inspired by the movie. It has been home-made into you-tube videos included in my Two-Lane Blacktop playlist below.
