I am glad it was, because it introduced me to Ghostland Observatory. According to Wikipedia, "Their music is difficult to classify, but has fittingly been described as 'electro-dance soul rock.'"

Um, that is kinda up my musically eclectic alley.

Listen to their stuff at Trashy Moped Recordings. I like it. It is like Devo in its synthesized mechanistic sound. Aaron Behrens's vocals are balanced towards hauntingly powerful; luckily, because without control they could easily tip towards screechingly annoying.
