Some things to know - it is a zip file, to save bandwidth. If my server runs out of bandwidth, please let me know by posting a comment or sending me email.
There are two versions - one of them is for older versions of Excel, such as 5.0 and MS Office 95.
The primary version unzips to 1.2 MB. The older versions file unzips to 2.6 MB.
Added 2009:
1. Settings: An Excel Wizard is responsible for major upgrades this year. He is only known as "Trilott", and we all owe him our adimration and thanks. Trilott created the SETTINGS worksheet, where you enter the year of the log, the first date and day of the year. In otherwords, this log can be used for all years following! Make sure to keep one blank copy of the file for 2010 and beyond!
2. My Plans & Common Workouts: Trilott also modified the "My Plans" worksheet. In My Plans, you can plan your workout distances and they will appear in the "Plan" column on the monthly training worksheets. Related to this, Trilott created a "Common Workouts" worksheet. If you type names for your common workouts, they will appear in a drop-down menu on the My Plans worksheet.
3. Race Page: Trilott added a page to record race results and it will keep track of your Personal Records for various distances.
4. Bike Tracker: Thinnmann added a bike mileage tracker worksheet. Works like the Shoe Tracker. Enter your bikes in the Bike Tracker worksheet, then indicate the bike you ride when recording cycling workouts on the Cycle & Swim worksheet.

I know it MUST be me, but when I go to the download page it shows the 2008 log. I downloaded it thinking maybe it was a typo but after opening it, it does appear to be the old one. Can anyone steer me straight on what I might be doing wrong. Good thing running doesn't exactly demand any advanced problem-solving....
